8 Christian Teacher Gift Ideas

8 Christian Teacher Gift Ideas

It’s that time of year again… what am I going to give my kids’ teachers? Here are some great ideas for Christian teacher gifts that your children’s teachers will love for any occasion!

  1. Handmade card.  Write a Bible verse about teaching, such as Deuteronomy 6:7, Psalm 25:12, or Matthew 28:19-20.  Have your child add some original artwork.  Pair with a gift card if you want to add a little extra!
  2. Framed photo.  Give a memory of your child and teacher that will last.  You can get a frame engraved with a Bible verse or an unfinished wooden frame from your local craft store for your child to paint or decorate.
  3. Desk mat. Get your child’s teacher a desk mat with inspirational Bible quotes. It’s a gift that will be used and seen every day.
  4. Mug of chocolates.  Find a Bible verse mug and fill it with individually wrapped chocolates.  A sweet treat for now and a reminder for daily use.
  5. Set of notecards.  Teachers write a lot of cards! Give a useful gift of blank greeting cards that can be adapted to anything the teacher needs to say.
  6.  Bath products.  Teachers have a stressful job and need to unwind after a long day! Any bath product will be appreciated, or try prayer scented bath salts for an added touch of faith.
  7. Baked goods.  When you have multiple teachers to give gifts to, baked goods can be an easy way to go!  You can pick up a batch at your local bakery or bake and wrap them yourself.  Pair with a free printable Bible gift tag.
  8. Flowers. Flowers are a wonderful gift at any time of the year, and even though they’re traditionally given to women, male teachers can enjoy them too!  Pick up a bouquet or a live plant at your local florist and pair with a Bible verse about flowers, such as Isaiah 40:8, Isaiah 35:1, or Matthew 6:28-29.

Whether you’re giving them to teachers at church or at school, these Christian gifts are sure to be loved! Each of these gifts is easy to adapt for Christmas, Easter, birthdays, or the end of the school year.  I included a mix of ideas for the people who plan ahead, as well as some last-minute ideas for people like me who are usually throwing a gift together the night before it needs to be given.   Happy gifting!
